The Power Of Kaizen For Personal & Business Success

Here is a word about the winning mindset behind Kaizen

Improvement, making something better with your effort perhaps could be being brushed aside a little too quickly in this age of 'The Secret'. I guess in time we will tell whether the 'Secret' ('just think it and you have it') will match the runs that exist on Kaizen's (more 'hands on') board.

The first principle "Never forget to stand from your customers point of view.. to see how your customer wants to feel benefited first" is what we all like to think we do but how often can you catch yourself out each hour firmly clinging to your own expecting it all to come flowing to you? Not that its bad. Not that we need to beg forgiveness for being so selfish. Not that we need to feel a lesser human being. Just to be aware that when find self between contracts, waiting by the phone for someone to call, to come in for an interview, for longer and longer.. then principle number one could be something to take a brief look at perhaps.

The second principle "to stand out from competitors" is nothing new and something we notice whenever we are going for the interview... but the one that I find very few are willing to do is

The third principle "to find our weakness and improve it now". This is most surely the motherlode because it requires us to step into a place that has our ego fighting against us in very costly war in a frantic attempt to 'protect itself' every inch of the way.

Those who have done persistant battle with their Ego over extended periods of time have noticed how ingenious it is in delaying, deceiving, illusioning, deluding it is.

So to what extent is overcoming this unwillingness from within our own camp important?
